7. Ole Miss
Georgia has hit the halfway point of their season with a perfect 6-0 record. This would likely put them at the top of the AP Poll rankings, if not at No. 1 after all the great wins already. And Georgia’s next game will be another chance to add to that resume.
Ole Miss comes to Athens for Georgia’s seventh game of the season, and the Bulldogs will have no issue getting up for this game after the loss they suffered last season in Oxford.
The good news for Georgia is that Ole Miss is one of the SEC teams likely to take a step back this season after QB Jaxson Dart left for the NFL Draft. But that probably wouldn’t even matter at the end of the day.
No one beats Georgia twice in a row (other than one team no one wants to mention), and Ole Miss will not become a team that can claim that. Georgia will be ready to destroy Ole Miss from the opening kickoff, so much so that the Rebels will be very thankful when they get to head home after the game.
Final Score: Georgia wins 41-16
Record Update: 7-0 (5-0)
