Predicting the final score of Georgia football’s final five games

Can Georgia keep riding the momentum they created after knocking off No. 1 Texas, or will they fall short of making the SEC Championship game and College Football Playoffs?

2. @ Ole Miss

The Ole Miss game is one that should scare Georgia fans a little bit. On paper this will be a game that the Bulldogs are solid favorites in, but Ole Miss is a sneaky team that can give Georgia some problems.

The Rebels are 5-2 overall this season and 1-2 in SEC play with three point losses to Kentucky and LSU. So even though they are currently ranked No. 18 in the country, they appear to be much closer to a top 10 team.

Ole Miss will also be super motivated for this game. The Rebels should be favorites in their four remaining games outside of Georgia, so this game will directly impact their SEC Championship game and College Football Playoff hopes. If they upset Georgia they have a good shot to make it into both, but a loss would eliminate them from both.

But even with all this extra motivation, I think Georgia will find a way to win. I think it will be a much closer game than any Georgia fan hopes for, but the Ole Miss offense has been struggling recently and I think UGA's defense will win this game for the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Georgia wins 24-10

Updated record: 8-1 (6-1)
