Predicting the final score of Georgia football’s final five games

Can Georgia keep riding the momentum they created after knocking off No. 1 Texas, or will they fall short of making the SEC Championship game and College Football Playoffs?

5. Georgia Tech

The final game of the regular season before Georgia heads to the SEC Championship game is their annual date with Georiga Tech. In case you missed the news, this will be the last game between these two rivals on a college campus before the game moves to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta next season. There is no indication that Georgia will give up their home game against Georgia Tech in 2026, but you never truly know in today's college football world.

But looking at this game now, this is one that initially looked like was going to be very difficult. Georgia Tech started the season off by beating a top 10 Florida State team, but we all know what has happened to the Seminoles since then.

The Yellow Jackets however have been a very average team since then as well. This by no means will be an automatic win, but looking at Georgia Tech's games against their best opponents so far this season should give Georgia fans a lot of hope. Georgia Tech lost by 18 points to Notre Dame this past weekend and also have a 12 point loss to Louisville. Their third loss came by three to Syracuse which looks very bad in my opinion.

Even though I think Georgia Tech could challenge the Bulldogs slightly, there is no reason for serious concern, especially on senior night.

Prediction: Georgia wins 34-17

Updated record: 11-1 (7-1)

Next up, a rematch in the SEC Championship game.
