Can Georgia keep riding the momentum they created after knocking off No. 1 Texas, or will they fall short of making the SEC Championship game and College Football Playoffs?

SEC Championship game vs Texas

Next up is the SEC Champinoship game, and it's going to be rematch against Texas. The Longhorns have a somewhat favorable schedule the rest of the season, so there is a high chance they enter this game at 11-1 as well.

Rematches from regular season games are always tough to predict, and unfortunately it feels like they tend to be won by the team that lost the first meeting. But Georgia is playing too well and will be even better by the time this game rolls around, so they won't let that happen.

Georgia won't have the luxury of having a 23-0 lead this time like they had on Saturday. In fact, Texas will probably start fast this time around and get a solid lead themselves. But Georgia's defense will settle in and slow the Longhorns' offense down once again, and Carson Beck and the receivers will have a bounce back game after struggling against Texas the first time around.

So with the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoffs on the line, Georgia will defeat Texas once again in front of the entire college football world, and will storm into the new 12-team CFP as the favorite and team to beat.

Don't worry Texas, you'll still make the CFP as well and maybe you'll get a third chance to beat Georgia in the playoffs.

Prediction: Georgia wins 24-17

Final Record: 12-1, SEC Champions, No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoffs
