Wide Receiver

WR-X: Noah Thomas/Dillon Bell

WR-Z: London Humphreys/Dillon Bell

Slot: Zachariah Branch

The wide receiver room was where Georgia struggled a lot this past season as they led the nation in drops, but that will be a thing of the past in 2025.

Georgia’s wide receivers will be led by USC transfer Zachariah Branch, who could very well become one of the top receivers in the country. Branch however wasn’t the only transfer acquisition this offseason as the Bulldogs also picked up Noah Thomas from Texas A&M. His starting job is not a guarantee line Branch, but he has a great chance to win that battle against Dillon Bell.

Speaking of Bell, he is someone who can play multiple positions as he will likely see time at the X and Y spot. He may not win either starting job as London Humphreys will be competing for a starting spot as well, but if Bell doesn’t win the starting job he will be the first receiver off the bench who will get a lot of playing time.

One other name to keep an eye on this spring is true freshman Talyn Taylor. He is the first five-star receiver signed by Georgia since 2019, so the hope is he’ll be able to contribute on the field this season as well.
