5. Co-Defensive Coordinator/Safeties Coach - Travaris Robinson

Losses: Malaki Starks, Dan Jackson
Returnees/Additions: KJ Bolden, Joel Aguero, JaCorey Thomas, Chris Peal, Adrian Maddox*, Jaden Harris*, Zion Branch*

Travaris Robinson returns to Georgia for his second season as the safeties coach and co-defensive coordinator. In 2024, Robinson’s safeties group accounted for four of the Georgia’s eight interceptions vs. 11 in 2023. This unit has been part of some of Georgia’s most clutch defensive plays in recent years, and finding replacements will be no small task.

With the talent and leadership of Malaki Starks and Dan Jackson moving on to the NFL, Coach Robinson has found himself in the position of rebuilding the safeties group, but he has plenty of talent to work with.

With projected starters KJ Bolden and Joel Aguero, experienced backups JaCorey Thomas and Chris Peal back on campus, Robinson went into the transfer portal and grabbed three talented players that he hopes will help build depth and fill the voids left by Starks and Jackson.
