Ranking which CFP teams pose the biggest threat to Georgia football
Georgia Bulldogs (Themselves)
Maybe this is cheating, but as it stands today, Georgia is probably the team that is the biggest threat of preventing Georgia from winning a national championship.
The Bulldogs clearly have the talent to compete against and beat any team in the country, the proved that when they handedly beat No. 1 Texas on the road. And even in that game the Bulldogs still weren't the best version of themseleves.
But what happens if Carson Beck continues to struggle? What happens if the defense has an off night? What happens if one of their opponents plays the best game of their life?
Considering Georgia already has one loss this season, there is a chance Georgia could still miss the CFP altogether. And with back-to-back games coming up against Ole Miss and Tennessee, there is a slim chance they could lose both.
At the end of the day Georgia will likely do enough to make it into the 12-team field this season. The better debate would be what seed they end up with. But Georgia has shown that they have multiple weaknesses this season, and if those weaknesses all come out at the same time most of the teams on this list could knock off the Bulldogs.
