Ranking which CFP teams pose the biggest threat to Georgia football
10. Penn State Nittany Lions
Penn State is not an intimidating team for Georgia. Many people might be surprised to see Penn State this early in the list, but after looking at their schedule it becomes more clear.
Penn State has not beaten one team included in the CFP's top 25. And the one team they have played inside the rankings (Ohio State) they lost to by seven at home. That by no means is a bad loss, but Penn State needs to show that they can beat someone good before they intimidate Georgia.
It's also worth noting that hed coach James Franklin has only won one big game in his 11-year career at Penn State. So Georgia pretty clearly would have the coaching advantage.
However, Penn State is essentially a lock to make the playoffs because their final three opponents should be easy wins for them. So hopefully Georgia somehow gets matched up with them, because that would likely be an easy win for the Bulldogs.
