8. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame is another tough team to get a good read on. The Irish started the season off strong with a road win at Texas A&M before shockingly losing at home to Northern Illinois the very next week. However, the Irish have bounced back since that loss and have won every game by a good margin.

This inculdes defeating a solid Louisville team by seven and an undefeated Navy team 51-14.

But even with all of these good results, the Irish don't really have any part of their team that is overly impressive. They are a solid team all the way around which is a good quality to have, but to compete for a national championship you need to be solid in all aspects while being elite in at least a few areas.

Georgia fits that description to perfection, and that is why Notre Dame is another team that isn't that concerning for Georgia.
