Ranking which CFP teams pose the biggest threat to Georgia football
6. Indiana Hoosiers
It’s time to give Indiana the respect they deserve. The Hoosiers may have had one of the easiest schedules in the country to this point, but that all gets thrown out the window after seeing how dominant they’ve been.
Indiana currently has the No. 2 scoring offense in the country, averaging 46.6 points per game. Combine that with their defense which is No. 7 in country giving up 13.67 points per game and it’s quite clear how good this team is.
Many will argue that their schedule is too weak and the reason why these stats are what they are. And that is hard to argue against. But at some point teams need to receive credit for beating every bad opponent on their schedule by a sunstantial margin.
Indiana will get to prove themsleves soon as they travel to Ohio State in a few weeks. Even if they lose, Indiana should still make the playoffs at 11-1, but the country will finally learn how legit Indiana is once that game happens.
