Ranking which CFP teams pose the biggest threat to Georgia football
5. Tennessee Volunteers
Next up is Tennessee, who has quickly turned into one of the best teams in the country. Everyone thought there was a chance that would happen this season, but after destroing as many teams as they have this season and beating the team Georgia couldn't, it's clear that they are a legit threat to win a national championship.
The Vols have a powerful offense that can keep up with anyone as well as a good enough defense that can at least slow teams down and prevent them from putting up a ton of points. That alone is enough reason to be a little concerned if Georgia faces Tennessee in the playoffs.
However, Georgia fans will only have to wait another week before UGA takes on Tenneessee. That game has massive implications both on the SEC Championship and CFP race. The loser of the game will find it nearly impossible to make the SEC title game while also treading on thin ice just to make it into the 12-team field.
If Georgia does beat Tennessee in two weeks it would be nice to not have to face them again, because this Vols team would be scary to play when they are looking for revenge.
