4. Miami (FL) Hurricanes

Miami (FL) is one of the first major concerns for Georgia. But not for the initial reasons you might think.

The Hurricanes are undefeated at 9-0 and have done so in relatively convincing fashion. Sure they had some close calls, but every team does, so the fact that they are undefeated in a power four conference is significant.

But their conference is not very strong, at all. The ACC is full of a lot of average to below average teams that any of the top teams in the country would beat easily. Clemson was looking to be improving this season, but even they have fallen off recently.

So Miami won't truly be tested until they get to the playoffs. And in their case as the likely ACC Champion, they won't be tested until the quarterfinals. That should be a very scary thing for Miami fans because who knows what will happen once they face a legit team.

But at the end of the day, Miami is looking like they’re going to be an undefeated power four champion, so they deserve respect. And the fact that nobody knows how good they’ll look against the top teams in college football is more nerve-racking than reassuring.
