Georgia football is gearing for a top 10 showdown this weekend as No. 10 Texas is coming to town for the biggest game of the week in the SEC. The Longhorns however are not the only outsider visiting Athens this week as a very interesting visitor was spotted at Georgia's practice on Tuesday.

Graham Coffey with Dawgs Central reported late Tuesday night that none other than former Florida football head coach Billy Napier was shockingly seen at Georgia's practice on Tuesday.

Fired SEC coach visited Georgia's practice on Tuesday

Napier might be the last person anyone would guess would be seen at Georgia's practice, yet he was somehow spotted wandering around UGA's practice facility on Tuesday. And while it is unclear what he was doing there, one would have to assume that Kirby Smart invited him to be there for some reason.

Smart is very friendly with every coach in the SEC, so while he wants nothing more than to beat every coach every time they take the field, he actually is very good friends with them all off the field. And that likely even includes Napier even if he was the coach at a rival like Florida.

So why was Napier at practice? Sure he has a lot of time on his hands after being fired from Florida about a month ago, but it still seems random to have him visit for a practice at this point in the season. There is a chance Smart invited him so he could offer some advice on how to beat Texas since the Gators did beat the Longhorns earlier this season. And considering Texas QB Arch Manning is asking Alabama QB Ty Simpson for help on how to beat Georgia this would only be fair.

This visit however is likely just an opportunity for Napier to do something with all of the time he now has on his hands.

Smart undoubtedly will be asked about this visit the next time he speaks with the media, so Georgia fans will eventually learn what Napier was doing on campus on Tuesday.
