Texas A&M was so close to reaching the promised land as they were one win away against rival Texas from making it to Atlanta to play for an SEC Championship. Even though they did come up short, there is hope in Aggieland that they will be able to build off this and contend for an SEC Championship appearance once again.

The Aggies offense however struggled at times last year, and it's likely that will be their downfall once again. Quarterback Marcel Reed returns for another season, but he did not prove anything during the 2024 season to show that he could lead this team to a lot of success in 2025. On top of that, his wide receiver room is essentially brand new which will make things even more difficult.

Could A&M surprise the SEC again this year? Sure, but it's unlikely to happen.
