8. Oklahoma Sooners

Top Transfers: RB Jaydn Ott, QB John Mateer, EDGE Marvin Jones Jr.

Biggest Losses: LB Desan McCullough, WR Nic Anderson, QB Jackson Arnold

The Oklahoma Sooners were an exciting addition to the SEC along with rival Texas, but the Sooners did not live up to the hype like the Longhorns did in year one. But Oklahoma is looking to silence the doubters as they hit the transfer portal very hard this offseson.

They brought in countless new pass catchers to pair with Washington State quarterback John Mateer who has the ability to be a star. The Sooners also won the sweepstakes for Cal running back Jaydn Ott, who was one of the top running backs available in the portal.

But can Oklahoma put it all together this year with a lot of pressure on the program? Time will tell, but the Sooners welcome Michigan for a week two showdown which will show how serious of a team they will be this season.
