11. Vanderbilt Commordores

Vanderbilt is another team that has a strong record overall at 13-1, but they have not done anything to show that they are one of the top teams in the SEC. While their record is very good, none of their 13 wins came against a solid opponent, so there is still a lot of unknown surrounding how good this team can be.

On top of that, Vanderbilt's one loss is potentially the worst loss in the SEC this season as they lost to Drake 81-70.

One the birght side for Vanderbilt, they are 1-0 in conference play after beating LSU this past weekend. However, the Tigers are one of the worst teams in the conference this season so that doesn't tell us how good Vanderbilt is this year. Vanderbilt however will be tested in the coming days as they play host to No. 14 Mississippi State on Tuesday.

A win in this game would go a long ways at determining how good Vanderbilt is. However, a loss would show that Vanderbilt does belong in the bottom half of these power rankings even with their good record.
