13. Texas Longhorns
We now enter the bottom fourth of the power rankings where we find the Texas Longhorns coming in at No. 13. But the Longhorns more than deserve to be this low in the rankings as they too already have three losses this season.
Similarly to a few other teams already mentioned, Texas does not have a marquee win yet this season, but part of that isn't their fault because they haven't had too many chances because of an easy schedule. But in the games where they did face a good opponent, they didn't really show up as they lost by 11 to UConn and 20 to Texas A&M this past weekend.
The good news for Texas is that they have a lot of opportunities to prove themselves in the coming days, but that is also bad news for the Longhorns because of how many difficult games they have on the horizon. This includes facing No. 2 Auburn on Tuesday and No. 1 Tennessee this weekend.
Texas shouldn't be expected to win either of these games, but if they want to move up in these rankings they need to keep both games close. And who knows, maybe they'll be able to steal a win and show that they can be one of the best teams in the conference this season.
