14. Missouri Tigers
Missouri is another team that has been disappointing this season, even though expectations were not that high to begin with. The Tigers are 11-3 this season which isn't all that bad, but they did lose twice in the non-conference to Illinois and Memphis.
On the other hand, Missouri did knock off Kansas on the road already this season 76-67 which is one of the best wins in the SEC this year. But even with that win, Missouri still comes in at No. 14 in these power rankings after being destroyed by Auburn over the weekend 84-68.
However, out of all the teams this low in the rankings, they have the highest upside and greatest chance to climb up these rankings. That climb begins Tuesday against LSU at home in a game the Tigers have to win if they want to be respected. Missouri then hosts Vanderbilt this weekend in another game the Tigers will expect to win.
While these two wins wouldn't be all that impressive, Missouri has to find a way to win these games to build some more confidence before their SEC schedule gets very difficult in the coming weeks.
