16. South Carolina Gamecocks

Unfortunately one team has to be listed at the bottom of these power rankings, but that selection is very easy as South Carolina deserves this spot.

The Gamecocks are the only team in the conference with four losses this season, and some of those losses came against some bad teams that no SEC team should lose to. This includes a 74-71 loss to North Florida in their season opener.

South Carolina, like every other SEC team, had their first conference game of the season this past weekend, but the Gamecocks unfortunately suffered the worst loss of the weekend to Mississippi State 85-50. The road doesn't get any easier for South Carolina either as they take on two top five teams this week in Alabama and Auburn.

Most teams in the conference this season will have a chance at pulling off upsets against the top teams in the league, but South Carolina does not seem like one of those teams. Maybe they will shock the college basketball world this week, but it's looking like the Gamecocks might be in line for two more blowout losses this week.
