The Georgia Bulldogs face their biggest challenge of the young season today as they face the Oklahoma Sooners at home. While the spotlight is on the game on the ield, it is what happens behind the scenes that make you fall in love with Georgia.
As the Georgia team was heading to the locker room earlier today to get ready for the game, Kirby Smart and several Georgia players took the time to stop and talk to a very special fan.

Liora Haynes, a 10 year-old Bulldog fan and cancer survivor, was able to gain the "full Bulldog experience" and was high-fiving Georgia players as they headed into the locker room. While the players could have easily given the excuse that they were too busy or focused on their biggest game of the season, they took the time to interact with Liora.
What made the moment even more special was Smart taking the time to speak with the entire family for "several minutes."

The college sports world is filled with chaos. From the courtroom and Lane Kiffin antics to canceled home-and-home series, we tend to get lost in the noise. Moments like this can remind us as to why we love sports, and what is to love about the Georgia Bulldogs. As the Bulldogs kick off this evening against Oklahoma, Georgia fans will cheer loud and hard for their team. Win or lose, this is a team worth cheering for.
Today is a day that an amazing fan will never forget, and in the best way possible. The outcome of the game is not what will make it special, it is the little time these players and Smart took to make it special. Smart is in full suit and tie in Georgia heat, and he still took the time to smile and truly make it a memorable moment for Haynes.
Georgia kicks off against Oklahoma in Athens at 3:30 pm EST. The Bulldogs will be looking to continue showing off their prominent offense which leads the nation in points per game heading into this weekend. Oklahoma however will be looking to get back to what preseason rankings predicted them to be at.
The preseason rankings had this as a top 10 matchup, and now it is yet another ranked versus unranked game for Georgia. Despite what the rankings say, the Georgia football fanbase should be in for a fun game tonight in Athens.
