G-Day is finally here. The most anticipated event of the offseason takes place Saturday, April 12 where Kirby Smart and Georgia will host their annual scrimmage in front of a sold out Sanford Stadium.

Excitement for G-Day this year did take a hit as the game will not be televised like it usually is, but that isn't stopping the excitement from pouring over for those in attendance. Excitement is also at an all time high on the recruiting trail as the Bulldogs are bringing in an elite list of recruits, according to Dawg Nation's Jeff Sentell.

Below is a highlight of some of the top recruits visiting Athens for G-Day, and Sentell also shared earlier this morning a surprise five-star visitor that was just added to this list.

Surprise 5-star visitor

While this list of recruits is already impressive enough, Georgia added an elite visitor in five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro earlier this morning.

This is likely a name that every Georgia fan has heard of by now because he is an in-state kid and one of the best players in the country. He also is someone that Georgia has been pursuing for a very long time now, and some experts even believe that UGA is the heavy favorite to win this recruitment as well.

Time will tell if Georgia ends up winning this recruitment or not, but UGA fans should feel very good about where they stand with Prothro as of today.
