Georgia football fans have been able to watch Andrew Smart, Kirby Smart's son, grow up right before their eyes. He has spent a lot of time at his dad's side throughout the years as he has built Georgia into the powerhouse program that it is today.

Andrew however is getting older, and he has fallen in love with football just like his dad. Unlike his dad though he has chosen to play quarterback, and it turns out that he is pretty good.

Andrew is a member of the 2030 class so it is way too soon to know how good he will be. But the above video shows that he is a really strong player for his age and that he definitely has a chance to play college football.

Could Andrew Smart actually play quarterback at Georgia?

What if Andrew was good enough to play quarterback at Georgia? Only the best of the best get a chance to do that, but what if he proves that he actually is good enough?

Andrew will begin his freshman season in high school this year, so he may not even play varsity football. But with the way he is spinning the ball in the above video maybe there's a chance he could earn some real playing time.

Since he is so young it's impossible to say with certainty if he has the talent to play at Georgia. And if he is good enough he might choose to go play elsewhere in college so he can go on his own journey and not live in his dad's shadow, but the trajectory he is currently on makes it seem like it isn't crazy to think that he could be good enough to play at Georgia one day.

Kirby Smart could face a serious dilemma when deciding if he should recruit Andrew

Let's assume Andrew is good enough to play at Georgia, would Smart even want to recruit him? Certainly he would if he thinks he would make Georgia better, but this would be an interesting dynamic to watch unfold.

If Smart wants to recruit Andrew he really wouldn't have to do any recruiting. Andrew already knows more about the program than anyone else. He also has spent a lot of time in the football buildings and knows what the culture of the program is all about. So instead of having to recruit him, Smart would just have to tell him that he wants him to come play for him.

The interesting part though would be if Andrew actually wants to play at Georgia or not. He obviously loves Georgia, but there's a world where he wants to do his own thing and create his own legacy without being attached to his dad. That may be a bit frustrating for fans if that's what happens, but it'd be hard to blame him for it.

Georgia hasn't offered Andrew a scholarship yet, but Georgia Tech funnily enough has. This shows that he may be good enough to get offered by Georgia at some point, and if that happens he would immediately become the most intriguing recruit in Smart's entire tenure.
