Georgia football is in the midst of arguably their best stretch of football in program history. Multiple National Championships along with three SEC titles stack up against any stretch any other program has had over the years, but Georgia has arguably found the most success over the past five years.
NIL began in college athletics five years ago. This means that the last five years are a great benchmark to use to see which programs are finding the most success in the current era of college football. And while there are a lot of stats that show Georgia is succeeding more than most programs, their 65 wins over the last five years is the stat that stands out the most.
Georgia has the most wins of any CFB program thus far in the NIL era (2021-present).

Here is a list of the top 30. pic.twitter.com/ievUW33Njk
Georgia reigns supreme in NIL era
During the NIL era (which dates back to 2021) Georgia leads the nation with 65 wins. This is six more wins than Ohio State who sits at No. 2 in the country with 59 wins. A gap of six wins may not seem like a lot, but in reality that is a massive lead that the Bulldogs have over the No. 2 team on this list.
The closest SEC team to Georgia is Alabama who has nine less wins with 56. After that is Ole Miss with 52 and Texas with 48.
Winning is great, but winning championships is even better. Thankfully Georgia has done that during the NIL era as they have won two National Championships (more than any other program) and three conference championships (more than any other Power Four program).
So when looking at who has benefitted the most from the NIL era it is clear that Kirby Smart and Georgia are at the top of that list. Sure the last couple years maybe didn't end how anyone was hoping, but UGA is the No. 1 team in the NIL era and it doesn't look like that will be changing anytime soon.
