There are a lot of ways to define success of a college football program. Beating your rivals, winning conference championships, dominating recruiting and winning national titles are the four most common ways people define success.
It's clear how dominant Georgia football is based on these four ways of defining program success, but there's a fifth way that people tend to use as well. NFL success.
Whether it be having players win the Super Bowl, having a lot of players drafted or signing large contract extensions, UGA once again dominates most programs when it comes to NFL success.
A new statistic however was recently shared by PFF College on social media, and this just speaks to how elite Georgia is when it comes to NFL success.

One of Georgia's best recruiting pitches
The above chart shows that Georgia leads the nation in snaps by rookies since 2022. And it honestly isn't even close. The Bulldogs have had their NFL rookies play nearly 30,000 snaps since 2022, with the next closest being Alabama with almost 6,500 less. Rounding out the top five is Ohio State, Penn State and Cincinnati, who UGA almost has doubled.
While it is fun for Georgia fans to be able to brag about another stat, this stat in particular is actually very useful for Kirby Smart and his staff. Players care about a lot of things when they are deciding which school is the best fit for them, but one thing everyone cares about is being developed into an NFL caliber player. And this stat shows that no one is better at doing that than Georgia.
The good news for Georgia is that they likely will remain at the top of this ranking as they project to be one of the teams with the most draft picks again this year. So hopefully Smart and his staff add this stat to their recruiting pitches, because this would be eye opening to most recruits.
