Georgia football has been the clear leader for five-star Jackson Cantwell for a few days now. The No. 1 overall recruit in the country took one final visit to Georgia this past weekend, and after that visit ended every recruiting site began predicting Cantwell to commit to UGA.
That however is no longer the case as reports surfaced Monday night claiming Miami was increasing their position with Cantwell, so much so that they have a legit chance to win this recruitment.
This update led many to believe it was now a two team race between Georgia and Miami for Cantwell, but a new update has shed some light on a third team who could win this battle.
Decision day has arrived for #UGA and Jackson Cantwell. Oregon was in yesterday to visit with him for one last time. Miami and Ohio State are also in the final four.

Oregon making one final push for Jackson Cantwell
The Oregon Ducks are a finalist for Cantwell as well, but they have seemed like a distant third in this recruitment in recent week. Cantwell took an official visit to Oregon at the end of April, and he himself shared that this visit went very well. But no word ever came out that it went well enough to convince him that Oregon was a better option than Georgia or Miami.
The above report however from Jeff Sentell with Dawg Nation indicates that Oregon traveled all the way to Missouri on Monday to visit with Cantwell one final time before his commitment. It doesn't appear that any of his other finalists (Georgia, Ohio State and Miami) visited Cantwell on Monday, so this shows that the Ducks are still very much a problem in this recruitment.
At this point it still feels like Georgia and Miami are the clear leaders with UGA slightly ahead, but Oregon is showing they can't be ignored.
Cantwell will announce his final decision on May 13 at 3:45 pm EST, so fans won't have to wait much longer to learn his final decision.
