Day three at the 2025 NFL Combine saw three Georgia football players compete as they look to impress NFL scouts ahead of the NFL Draft later this spring. Those three players were running back Trevor Etienne and wide receivers Arian Smith and Dominic Lovett.

All three players had a lot to prove at the Combine as they entered the NFL Draft process with a lot of questions to answer, and all three answered a lot of those questions on Saturday at the Combine.

Trevor Etienne shows his injury isn't holding him back

Etienne had a solid season in his one year with Georgia as he recorded 122 carries for 609 yards and nine touchdowns. This is a very good season on an offense that leaned towards throwing the ball more than running, but Etienne did suffer an injury this past season.

So Etienne had to show NFL teams that this injury is a thing of the past and not impacting him at all anymore. And he did just that as he ran the sixth-fastest 40-yard dash time at 4.42 seconds. He was even better in the 10-yard split as he was second-best at 1.51 seconds. Etienne even did very well in the broad jump where he had the seventh-best jump out of all the running backs.

Arian Smith and Dominic Lovett prove drops are no longer an issue

The biggest question surrounding both Smith and Lovett was if they can actually catch the ball. That is a very concerning question to have to answer as a wide receiver, but that is what they will face after Georgia led the nation in drops last season. Thankfully Smith and Lovett showed on Saturday that their issues with drops may be in the past as they performed exceptionally well in the on-field drills.

Smith and Lovett also did well in the 40-yard dash, even though Smith didn't challenge the Combine record like some experts thought he could. However, these two did set a Georgia program record by running the fastest time as a duo at the same Combine.

All three Bulldogs will have another chance to compete in front of NFL scouts at Georgia's upcoming Pro Day in March, so another great performance from all three players will hopefully eliminate any lingering doubts about what could hold them back at the next level.
