It's time for Georgia football to turn the page after their loss to Alabama and focus on the rest of the season ahead. Up next for the Bulldogs is a home date with Kentucky who shouldn't be much of a challenge for UGA. The Wildcats look like one of the worst teams in the SEC this season, but Georgia can't afford to overlook anyone at this point in their season.
But even though this isn't the biggest game left on Georgia's schedule, they will still be featured on a major TV network with one of the best crews calling their game.
TV and announcers set for Georgia vs. Kentucky
Georgia and Kentucky are scheduled to kickoff at noon EST on Saturday, Oct. 4. The game will be aired on ABC with Joe Tessitore as the lead play-by-play announcer and Jesse Palmer alongside him as the analyst in the booth. Katie George will be the third and final member of the crew reporting from the sideline throughout the game.
Kentucky enters this game at just 2-2 after a very disappointing loss to South Carolina last week. The Gamecocks are not the team they were last season, but the Wildcats were still blown out 35-13. Their two wins this season came against Toledo and Eastern Michigan, so Kentucky is still looking for their first big win of the season.
They have a great oppotrunity to get their first marquee victory of the season this weekend in Athens, but all signs point to this being an easy win for UGA. Georiga is favored by about three touchdowns and they will be ready to make a statement after their loss to Alabama last week. So this game has the chance to get ugly, and every Georgia fan would absolutely love to see that happen.
