Georgia football is ready to hit the road for the first time this season as they are heading to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. This game has quickly turned into one of the biggest games of the season in the SEC as Georgia and Tennessee have emerged as two of the top teams in the conference this year.

Georgia is at a mini crossroads after struggling to a 28-6 win against Austin Peay on Saturday. This win is causing the entire country to question how good UGA actually is, so much so that the public moved the spread for this game from seven points to 3.5 in favor of Georgia. This indicates that there isn’t much faith in Georgia right now, but a win on Saturday would change everything.

TV and announcers set for Georgia vs. Tennessee

Georgia and Tennessee will do battle on Saturday, Sep. 13 at 3:30 pm EST. The game will be aired on ABC and will have one of the top crews in the country calling the game.

Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game from the booth while Holly Rowe will be roaming the sideline all game long.

Broadcast crews don’t get much better than this. This three person group regularly calls the best game in the country every week, so the fact they’ll be in Knoxville reinforces that this is one of the biggest games of the week. ESPN’s College GameDay will also be in town as well, so the hype surrounding this game is clearly reaching an all time high.

This game realistically could go either way. Vegas still favors Georgia but ESPN gives the slight edge to Tennessee, so this game has all the makings of being one of the best meetings this rivalry has had in quite some time. Regardless, Georgia fans will be able to listen to one of the best crews college football has to offer call this game all night long.
