Georgia football currently sits at 4-1 after a dominant victory over Kentucky on Saturday. Up next for the Bulldogs is a rivalry matchup with Auburn who presents a huge challenge for Kirby Smart and Georgia.

But it's hard to not look ahead at what's to come after Georgia plays Auburn because the Bulldogs have potentially the biggest game of their season looming. That game is against No. 4 Ole Miss, and the kick time and TV channel airing this game have just been announced.

TV and kickoff time set for Georgia vs. Ole Miss

Georgia football and Ole Miss are scheduled to kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 3:30 pm EST. UGA also announced that this game will air on ABC as well.

Ole Miss has quickly become one of the favorites to win the SEC this season. The Rebels are the highest ranked team in the SEC as they currently sit at No. 4 in the latest AP Poll rankings after a 5-0 start to their season. Ole Miss however only has one good win so far this year as they took down LSU 24-19 two weeks ago, so the Rebels still have something to prove before they are a true national title contender.

Georgia also has a lot to prove before they are a true contender as well after dropping their first game of the season to Alabama last week. The college football world will learn a lot about Georgia this week when they face Auburn on the road at night as a win in that game could carry UGA through the rest of this season.

Ole Miss does have to get by Washington State this week before facing Georgia, but the Rebels are predicted to win by a wide margin. So Ole Miss more than likely will win that game, move to 6-0 and be a top five team in the country when they head to Athens.

This gives Georgia the perfect opportunity to get their season back on track and add another resume building win to their College Football Playoff resume that could really use some more help.
