6. Tennessee Volunteers

2024 SEC Record: 6-2

Tennessee's season relies on one player this year. UCLA transfer quarterback Joey Aguilar was recently named the starter for the Vols, and he has some big shoes to fill.

Former Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleave transferred to UCLA this offseason in what was the biggest story of the offseason. Many thought he could be the player that finally led Tennessee back to the top of the SEC, but that no longer will be the case.

No one knows what Aguilar will give Tennessee this season, but the Vols do have a good team around him on both sides of the ball, so if he turns out to be a great player the Vols have a chance to do something special this season.

Tennessee will be tested week one in a neurtal site game against Syracuse, and a win in this game could propel them for the rest of their season, especially with an early season showdown with Georgia looming in week three.

Week 1 Opponent: Syracuse (Atlanta)
