15. Kentucky Wildcats

2024 SEC Record: 1-7

There are a lot of similarities between Kentucky and Mississippi State. Both teams finished at the very bottom of the SEC standings last season, and both programs likely will be at the bottom again this season. The Wildcats also were extremely active in the Transfer Portal this offseason as well, and many people believe over a dozen of their starters this season could come from the portal.

While that could add some level of excitement for Kentucky fans, that doesn't mean these additions will work out in the long run. Learning to play as a team with this many new faces can be extremely difficult, and unfortunately their week one opponent won't make life easy on them.

Kentucky opens their season at home against Toledo which sounds like a pretty easy game, but the Rockets are a popular pick to be the Group of Five qualifier in the College Football Playoff this season. A win in this game would actually be very good for Kentucky, but a loss is very possible.
