14. Vanderbilt Commodores
2024 SEC Record: 3-5
Vanderbilt was one of the surprise teams in the SEC last season. Sure they still only went 3-5 in conference play, but that is actually a pretty solid season for Vandy.
The Commodores had a lot of great wins last season including Virginia Tech, Alabama and Georgia Tech. They also played teams like Texas, Tennessee and LSU very tough, but that will be hard to repeat this season. Most teams overlook Vanderbilt and view them as an extra bye week on their schedule, but after the year they had last season that won't be happening this year.
Vanderbilt does return quarterback Diego Pavia this year, but his hands are going to be full as he is one of the only bright spots on this Commodores team.
