When was the last time Alabama was the No. 7 team in the SEC? In all seriousness though, this Alabama team might already be dead.
Losing at Florida State isn't the worst thing in the world even after their horrific season last year, but it's the manner in which they lost that is troubling. The lack of effort and attention to detail was apparent throughout the entire game, and it was easy for anyone watching to see that this isn't the same Alabama from two years ago when Nick Saban was still in town.
Alabama has a chance to get right this week against UL Monroe, but they have another big nonconference game against Wisconsin looming and that by no means is an automatic win.
