Week two in the SEC is in the books and that is a great sign for SEC fans because this week probably had the least exciting matchups all season long. However, there were still some massive upsets in the conference that sent one team shooting up these power rankings and another who many thought was a contender free falling to the middle of the pack.

So let's dive right in and start getting ready for what is a massive week three in the SEC.

16. Kentucky Wildcats

Week 2 Ranking: 16

Week 2 Result: 30-23 loss vs Ole Miss

Kentucky should hold their heads high after their seven point loss to Ole Miss this week. Sure losing is never a good thing, but the Wildcats put up a better fight than anyone was expecting.

But at the end of the day, this Kentucky team needs to actually beat a good team before they move any higher than last place in these power rankings.

Kentucky won't get that chance this week as lowly Eastern Michigan comes to town, but in order to build some momentum before the rest of their SEC season begins the Wildcats need to win this game by a large margin.
