Week 2 Result: 42-31 win vs Kansas
Missouri had the opportunity ro renew their rivalry with Kansas for the first time since joining the SEC, and the Tigers came away with a big 42-31 victory. Kansas usually isn't known for being a football school, but their program has been pretty solid recently so this is a good win for Missouri.
The Tigers unfortunately still had to slide back a spot in these power rankings because of the monster win by the next team on this list, but Missouri should be feeling really good about where their team is at right now.
Missouri has an easy nonconference game up next before they open up SEC play against South Carolina in week four. So the Tigers need to handle their business this week before they see how they stack up with a true contender the following week.
