10. Ole Miss Rebels

Week 2 Ranking: 6

Week 2 Result: 30-23 win @ Kentucky

It isn't often that a team drops four spots after winning on the road in the SEC, but that is what happened to Ole Miss this week. Kentucky is arguably the worst team in the conference this season (especially after the Mississippi State win over Arizona State), so any true contender should beat the Wildcats by a large margin even on the road.

But that isn't what happened this week.

Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons is going to have to figure it out in a hurry because the zero touchdown, two interception performance he had this week isn't going to cut it in the SEC. In fact, Kentucky is probably the only team in the conference he could get away with playing that poorly against.

Ole Miss has a chance to redeem themselves this week as they welcome Arkansas to town, and if the Rebels want to be a serious threat this season they need to win this game by a wide margin.
