12. Missouri Tigers

Week 3 Ranking: 12

Week 3 Result: 52-10 win vs Louisiana

Missouri continues to be a team that is handling their business this season, but they are yet to give anyone many reasons to expect big things from them. To be fair there is nothing wrong with beating Louisiana by 42 points, but at the end of the day that is expected from anyone in the SEC, so that won't prove they are a legit contender by any means based on that result.

Unfortunately for Missouri they won't get that chance to really prove themselves until Alabama comes to town on Oct. 11. South Carolina is up next which on paper seems like a big opportunity for them, but the Gamecocks just got destroyed by Vanderbilt and they might be without their star quarterback after he suffered a concussion on Saturday.

If Sellers doesn't play then Missouri should win this game, but all the Tigers can do is keep beating the teams on their schedule and maybe they will eventually prove they are a legit threat in the SEC.
