Week 3 Result: 31-15 win vs South Alabama
Auburn was riding high entering week three as they were ranked for the first time since 2021, but that ranking may have gotten to their heads as they only were able to beat South Alabama by 16 points.
Auburn was led by running back Jeremiah Cobb who exploded for 119 yards and one touchdown. Jackson Arnold also had a solid game as well, but he still left a lot to be desired considering the level of competition he was up against.
Auburn fans will tell anyone who will listen that this is their year. They believe this team is good enough to make it to Atlanta, and this week they will have their chance to show how legit they are as they hit the road to take on a hot Oklahoma team.
