Georgia basketball is one of the hottest teams in the country. That is something potentially no one has ever said about Georgia before, but after winning their final four regular season games it is definitely true.

Mike White and the Bulldogs just capped off their regular season by defeating Vanderbilt 79-68 during Senior Day in Athens. This win was amazing for a few reasons as it is only the sixth time Georgia has ever reached 20 wins in program history. But the best part of all is that Georgia has locked their place in the NCAA Tournament reagardless of what happens in the SEC Tournament next week.

But speaking of the SEC Tournament, that bracket is officially set after Saturday's games, so lets take a look at the path in front of the Bulldogs in this tournament.

Georgia faces tough path in the SEC Tournament

Everyone knows how difficult the SEC has been this season, so that means the conference tournament might be the hardest tournament in recent history. Thankfully Georgia is playing some great basketball, so they are part of the reason why this bracket is so loaded.

Georgia enters the tournament as the 11-seed, meaning they did not earn a bye and will have to play on the first day of the tournament on Wednesday. They will fave 14-seed Oklahoma in a game that Georgia should feel very confident they can win.

If Georgia advances past that game, they will play 6-seed Kentucky in another game that UGA should love their chances. But the good vibes would end there as Georgia's third opponent would be 3-seed Alabama, who just won at Auburn on Saturday.

Even though Georgia's path in the SEC Tournament is extremely difficult, the Bulldogs are playing some really good basketball, so anything is possible. However, at the end of the day Georgia is 100 percent in the NCAA Tournament, so there is no pressure on the Bulldogs to rattle off some wins which is a very nice feeling.
