Georgia football hosted their annual G-Day on Saturday, but unfortunately fans at home were unable to watch. So they were not able to determine for themselves who the top performers were and who struggled.

So here are a three winners from G-Day as well as a couple things that did not go as well as expected.

Winners

LB Justin Williams

Georgia's defense has a lot of pieces they need to replace this offseason, but linebacker Justin Williams showed that they will not have a problem doing so. Williams finished the game with a whopping nine tackles which included three tackles for a loss. On top of that, he also had a huge pass breakup on a fourth down play as well.

Some had concerns about Georgia's depth at linebacker heading into this spring, but Williams' performance on Saturday should erase some of those doubts.

RB Chauncey Bowens

Nate Frazier is the clear starting running back for Georgia this fall, but who the backup will be is the biggest question. Chauncey Bowens arguably made the greatest claim to becoming the No. 2 running back as he recorded five carries for 38 yards and also hauled in a catch for 14 yards as well.

Bowens showed a great ability to find the open space and explode through the gaps to earn as many yards as possible. So if Bowens keeps this up, expect to see him a lot this fall whenever Frazier heads to the sideline for a break.

RB Bo Walker

While Bowens made a solid claim to be the No. 2 running back this fall, so too did freshman Bo Walker. Walker has been making a lot of buzz so far this spring, and he backed that up on Saturday with eight carries for 44 yards which included a 30-yard run.

Who knows who the backup to Frazier will end up being, but G-Day showed that there are plenty of quality options for UGA to use this fall in the backfield.

Losers

Quarterbacks

Some people may not want to admit this, but both Gunner Stockton and Ryan Puglisi did not perform as well as most hoped. This doesn't mean they performed bad by any means, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Both QBs only completed about 50 percent of their passes and they both threw an interception as well. These things will likely improve as time goes on as they get more reps, but both players left a lot to be desired throughout Saturday.

However, potentially the most unfortunate thing of all is that neither quarterback took control of this QB competition and showed they are the player to beat. It would have been nice for either player to be dominant and show they are the heavy favorite, but that unfortunately did not happen.

Injuries

No one ever wants to see injuries take place, especially during a glorified scrimmage, but Georgia unfortunately suffered three injuries on Saturday. Those were to wide receivers Noah Thomas and Cole Speer as well as linebacker Quentavius Johnson.

On the bright side, Kirby Smart did share that neither injury is serious, so hopefully all three players will be able to keep working out throughout the summer without needing to be held back.
