ESPN and the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday the Georgia Basketball team will appear twice as part of ESPN’s “Super Tuesday” lineup for 2015.

Georgia bookends the annual showcase of SEC basketball on ESPN. The Bulldogs will play host to Arkansas on Tuesday, Jan. 6 in a 7:00 p.m. game that tips off the league schedule. They’ll wrap up the Super Tuesday series in a March 3 contest against Kentucky at 9:00 p.m. Both games will take place in Athens.

The Dawgs will also entertain Florida and Tennessee at home. The fan friendly home schedule also includes South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Ole Miss and Auburn will also come to Athens.

Non-conference home games include Seton Hall and Colorado as well as early rounds games of the 2014 NIT Season Tip-Off. With a winning effort in the NIT Season Tip-Off games, the team will play twice in New York’s Madison Square Garden. The Bulldogs will also go on the road to UT-Chattanooga, Kansas State and arch rival Georgia Tech.

With Florida and Tennessee rolling off the road schedule and onto the home slate, the Dawgs have an excellent chance to improve on last years very good 4 – 5 SEC road record. If Georgia plays as expected at home they should earn an NCAA bid, but the team must play well and win in November and December. And priority one is handling the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets – winners of an embarrassing three straight over the Dawg Cagers – on the road in Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
