Georgia football wide receiver recruit Randrecous Davis’ tattoos pass the Bulldog eye test, as does his 10.8 100 meter speed.

Kids say the darnedest things. And when those kids are college football recruits, there is no shortage of mature adults acting like kids and saying the darnedest things in return.

And when a college football recruit gets one of those darned tattoos, the adults pass judgment, determining, indeed, the recruit is unworthy of good old Football U.
However, occasionally, the old fuddy duddy guard approves. For Georgia fans, the latest football recruit’s tattoo to pass inspection is Rivals.com four-star wide receiver Randrecous Davis (5’11” 180 Atlanta, Mays High.)
Davis sports a football-helmet related skull, Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls and Rolling Stones tattoos on his muscular arms. He also has a red Georgia “G” on his left bicep.
B-Mac’s like a Mays legend
“I even grew up a Georgia fan,” Davis told Jeff Sentell of the AJC.com. “That’s representing my state and state pride right there with that.”
The former Class of 2002 athlete from Atlanta’s Mays High School, Georgia receivers coach Bryan McClendon, recently offered Davis, the most recent Class of 2016 athlete at Mays High School, a chance to follow in his footsteps.
“They are really recruiting me as an athlete,” Davis told Paul Maharry of UGASports.com . “Coach B-Mac is probably going to make me play receiver, because you know, he’s like a Mays legend at our school.”
Davis claims offers from Alabama, Florida, and LSU. But with Coach McClendon pulling Davis hard toward the Dawgs, Davis is warming to the possibility of playing in Athens.
“He’s really on me hard and wants me to come start for him,” Davis said. “He likes me a lot. This is my senior year and I’m aiming to break some of his school records this year in football and in track. I’m coming for him.”

Although Davis did not work out at the Mark Richt 7-on-7 camp in Athens due to injury, he did attend and receive an offer. That offer becomes committable when Davis attends Dawg Night and works out for the coaches.
“This is our third year going up there so we’ve played up there before, but I like it, I like it a lot,” Davis told Paul Maharry of UGAsports.com. “Georgia’s always been one of my top schools.”
His highlight film shows off his 10.8 second speed in the 100 meters and his athleticism.
“They just want me to come to ‘Dawg Night’ and then my offer would become committable,” Davis said. “They just want me to show up and show out.”
McClendon playing his high school ball at Mays is part of the recruiting pitch. But Davis could be swayed as much by the lead Dawg in Georgia’s 2016 recruiting class, top-rated quarterback Jacob Eason.
“That guy is legit,” Davis told Jeff Sentell. “He has got a cannon.”
And Georgia fans like the G on Davis’ guns.
