Volunteer Fan Base

The delusion of the Tennessee fan base is something I have never seen before. I listen to some of them talk and all I can think about is “are you drunk?” Every year they are going to beat Alabama, Georgia, and Florida according to a Tennessee fan. They talk trash to these three teams like they have beaten any of them recently. Honestly, I feel a little embarrassed for them when they start on with their unfounded rants.

Do you know how often Tennessee fans tell me how terrible Georgia is? Scoreboard Tennessee fans…scoreboard. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves is leaving a game early. Do you know how much I love football? I actually have been going to arena football games just to get a small taste of pigskin and you are going to leave one of the few precious games we get as college football fans early?! If Tennessee is down by two touchdowns at the half that stadium is empty. Way to have faith in your team Volunteer fans! No matter if Georgia is up by 100 or down by 100 I cherish every moment my boys are on the field playing, and I will stay to support them until the very last second.

There it is Georgia fans. 26 years of growing up as a Dawg fan in Knoxville and those are your top 5 things to hate about Tenneessee fans. If you have other pet peeves with the fan base be sure to leave it in the comments. If you happen to be a Vol reading this and you actually lasted reading this long feel free to comment also. If you are a my grandmother (who is a Vol) and reading this I love you and please do not write me off.
