Pregame at Tate for the Redcoat Band and the Dawg Walk

A pregame tradition that was brought back by coach Richt, the Dawg Walk has become a staple of the festivities in Athens.

Right behind the Tate Student Center, fans line up and gather on the grounds and bridges to cheer on the Dawgs as they enter the stadium. The Redcoat Band plays, the mascots do their thing, and the high-fives from the players to the fans help generate the electricity for the upcoming contest.

You can hear the Dawg Walk from blocks and blocks away, but there’s nothing like being there in the thick of it to get your heart pumping and tear ducts wide open.

Glory, Glory!
