Chigbu is another terrific addition to what is shaping up to be one of the best recruiting classes Mark Richt has put together during his tenure at Georgia.

The 6-foot-2, 211-pound product of Holy Cross HS in New Orleans visited Athens for the Dawg Day camp, and was reportedly 50/50 between UGA and Texas A&M after leaving. Today he made his decision and gave Georgia the thumbs up via Twitter.

This is the 11th 4-star commit for the Dawgs class of 2015, to go along with a 5-star athlete (Terry Godwin). Chigbu was recruited by coaches Tony Ball and Bryan McClendon.

Chigbu is rated as the number 10 player overall in the state of Louisiana, and the number 32 wide receiver in the country, as well as coming in as the number 253rd ranked recruit in the country regardless of position, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Not only are Richt and his staff now getting many in-state recruits to stay home, but they’re now regularly landing recruits from out of state and in areas where Georgia doesn’t usually venture.

Huge get for the Dawgs, and there is sure to be more to come.
