Imagine a fall Friday night.

The air is crisp.  A freight train’s distant rumble is distinct.

Toe meets leather.

It’s not a fairytale. When the sun drops below the pine tops, be real; grab a sweater and follow your high school’s stadium lights to the greatest show on earth – Georgia high school football.

If you are left baby sitting at the house, take little baby Bo on the front porch and listen for the band. Then fire up the laptop, click to the NFHS Network and watch 2015 Georgia Bulldog football recruits show their stuff

More from Georgia Football Recruiting

Terry Godwin appears again with his Callaway High team Friday on the NFHS Network. The Cavaliers (AAA Region 5A) will take the 20 minute drive south on Highway 29 to take on Troup County (AAAA Region 5) in LaGrange. Both teams are competitive in their class. Expect an entertaining game.

The 5’11″ 166 lb Godwin is the top Rivals.com rated athlete in Georgia and a Rivals number 8 national recruit. He committed to Georgia in January. Broadcast time is 7:30.

Sage Hardin and his Marist teammates will appear for the fourth consecutive week on the NFHS Network. Marist welcomes visiting Redan for a AAAA Region six contest. Marist is undefeated, including games against powerhouse competition. Redan is win-less this year. There is no doubt the Redan Raiders will fight and scrap, but tune in for the kick off.

Hardin is a Rivals three star offensive line recruit. With a listed height of 6’6”, Hardin projects as a tackle at the college level. He committed to Georgia in July. Broadcast time is 7:30.

Tucker High School’s (AAAAAA Region 2) Jonathan Ledbetter will make his third appearance on the NFHS Network when the Tigers drive ten minutes south to cross Highway 78 and challenge Clarkston High (AAAAA Region 6A). The Tucker 2 – 2 record is deceiving; the Tigers opened the season losing close games to powerhouses Washington of Miami and Norcross. Since then Tucker has vented it’s frustration with 55 – 0 and 77 – 0 romps. Clarkston is winless and hopefully Tucker has lost the chip that was on its shoulder.

Ledbetter is a 6’3″ 272 lb Rivals 4-star defensive end recruit. He committed to the Bulldogs in August.  Broadcast time is 7:30.

Times listed are broadcast times, not kickoff. Dawn of the Dawg has checked for injuries or other reasons one of these players will not compete this weekend. If you have contrary knowledge, let us know, and thank you.
