Georgia basketball could get a huge lift Thursday.
Or not.
Tevin Mack will sign a 2015 basketball letter of intent with somebody Thursday at noon at his school, Dreher High.
We think.

The Mack recruitment has been filled with drama, speculation, and ignorance. The experts at 247sports.com are split, although recent predictions trend toward VCU and away from Georgia with UConn still in the race. Dan McDonald, recruiting guru at Uga.rivals.com, refuses to speculate.
Mack told Dan McDonald of Rivals.com months ago, “I want to go somewhere I can play early and make an impact. I want to earn my spot. I want to play somewhere that gets TV games and exposure and the best competition. The most important thing is that I want to make sure the coach recruiting me is going to be there all four years.”
Georgia has commitments from Will Jackson (SG, 6’4″, 160, Athens, GA, Athens Christian School) and E’torrion Wilridge, SF, 6’7″, 210, Beaumont, TX, Central High. Both are excellent players. With Georgia a finalist in the Derek Ogbeide (PF, 6’8″, 230. Mableton, Pebblebrook High) recruitment, and with the recent committment of Rivals four star guards 2016 guards Jordan Harris (SG, 6’4″ 170, Donalsonville, Seminole County High) and Tyree Crump (SG, 6’2″, 170, Bainbridge, Bainbridge High) , Georgia could be on the verge of sustained baskebtall success.
Or not.
One thing is certain – whoever gets Mack will get a great player.
