If every SEC fan base had a ‘relationship status’ with their football coach

The Gators are just out of a committed relationship, and they’re going to play hard to get this time. They really like McElwain, but trust issues could arise early on.

Give this one some time. Perhaps by season’s end the Gator Nation will be ready to call themselves in a committed relationship, but what they don’t want to do is get stuck in a pattern of bad partners and become co-dependent.

Coach McElwain has his work cut out for him here. He’s got to gain trust and make these people believe again, because right now they’re at the lowest they’ve been in some times.
