Georgia basketball head coach Mark Fox shares a first name with the school’s football coach, but apparently some think they could be one in the same?

Mark Fox…Mark Richt…long lost twins, now reunited under the starry Georgia skies, coaching their respective teams and becoming reacquainted in ol’ Athens town?
Nah…just a silly mistake by someone obviously not familiar with Georgia’s coaches (or infatuated with Mark Richt).
Because after Georgia’s loss to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament semifinals today, as coach Fox was taking the podium, he was mistakenly introduced as “Coach Richt”.
Hey, I guess it’s a compliment for many.
For his part, Fox showed a good sense of humor (despite having just been beaten down by the Hogs, 60-49), and quipped at the misrepresentation.
“I don’t look like Coach Richt, and I don’t get paid like Coach Richt,” Fox joked, according to USA Today’s Nicole Auerbach.
Is there a resemblance? You be the judge.

Aside from the thinning hair and stern gaze, not really even close. As for the paycheck, coach Fox…bring home a few SEC titles, you’ll get there.
Georgia’s basketball team simply ran out of gas against a tough Arkansas squad, and now must play the waiting game to see where they will be seeded (assuming they are selected) in the NCAA Tournament.
The 2015 NCAA Tournament Selection Show is Sunday, March 15, 2015, starting at 6 p.m. ET on CBS.
