Kick/Punt Returner – Brandon Boykin (2008-2011)

I think it’s proven that the 2008-2001 years were the years of some very special players on special teams, and Brandon Boykin was one of the best ever. Besides his duties returning kicks and punts, Boykin was also a standout corner back for the Bulldogs.

An exciting player every time he touched the ball, Boykin was always a threat to take it to the house. He owns Georgia records for kick returns in a season (38) and career (110), return yardage in a season (988) and career (2,663), and longest kickoff return (100).

Boykin returned punts as well, and although he doesn’t have any records in that area, he was still a fine punt returner. He was awarded the Paul Hornung award, given to the most versatile college football player, in 2011.

He currently plays in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles.
